October 25


"We played bats and moths."
"We were using echolocation to find food."
 

"The bat would say "bat" and the moth would say "moth", and the bat would listen and then move towards the moth."
"If the bat got close to a tree, the tree would say "tree"."

"The leaves are not on the trees."





"Rambunctious Raccoon found slug eggs."

"Trotting Turkey collected leaves, and Dancing Dragonfly found twigs and they sewed them together.  Trotting Turkey thought they could be trampoline or a boat in her fair house." 
"Leaping Deer found a tree frog."


"Scurrying Mouse and Leaping Deer were putting a new tarp on the shelter."

"Joyful Blue Jay and Leaping Deer were getting the leaves off of the shelter."

"Chirping Chickadee was shoveling on the path so that peoples' feet don't go on the leaves."

"Howling Wolf was raking the path."

"Trotting Turkey cleaned out her fairy house and thought about what she could do with it, and she thought that she could get in it."

"Joyful Blue Jay, Trotting Turkey and Dancing Dragonfly were explorers, and scientists,  as they explored the stream."
"We found a bone.  It might be a bear tooth." 

"Leaping Deer made a leaf man."
"We were cracking eggs."


"We were mixing the eggs with a whisk."

"Joyful Blue Jay was eating the eggs...with double cheese.

"We were sitting by the fire listening to the book."
"We read Leaf Man."

"We went on a nature walk and we saw mushrooms."

"We saw three trees that are all part of the roots."
