Brrrrr...It was below zero today, so we couldn't go outside.  That didn't stop us from learning more about out woods animal friends.

We even had a "fire" inside.

February 6

"I was teaching everyone to climb trees."

"I found this piece of ice that looks like a shark fin and the United States of America."

"I was trying to get leaves up and put them on the other side so we could make a dam and I go some leaves."

"I was getting all the leaves out of the dam so that the water could go out because the water wasn't going out because of all the leaves."

"Getting more leaves out so the dam can still go."

Smiles!

"I was working on getting leaves out and little sticks and my friend and I were getting a big log out of the water because it was blocking the stream."

"I was helping chop out the ice in the pan."

"I was getting dirt for my pie."

"We were trying to go up the hill and I was always slipping on it. "

"I made some donuts."

"We made hot dog spaghetti thing-a-ma-gigs!"

"The noodles were hard, but we broke them into smaller pieces and then we sticked them through the hot dog, but not where the skin is."

"We were making pastas."

"This is our ice art."

"We collected all kinds of leaves and pine cones and then we put them in a little bucket and then we made it in a circle and put water in it."

"It is going to turn into ice. I put in some acorns in."

"I was holding something called a pod. They have seeds inside them."
