September 27

This week our woods day was on Thursday!

"We play an animal game to get to the woods."
"We tried to tag Mrs. Hull."

"The game was called 'predator and prey."
"You had to catch the deer."

"Looking up at the sky there are leaves on the branches."
"There were some clouds in the sky too."

"She is sitting at her sit spot.

"We made a picture with stuff that was on the ground.  There was brown, green, yellow and a little bit of orange."

"I had a stump at my sit spot and there's orange mushrooms on it.  And I found a slug."

"I was in the fort and I was hiding from a friend who was trying to catch us."
"We were playing a catcher game."

"I was walking across the tree."

"I was making a stump into a high seat."

"We were looking at a stump and we saw a salamander."

"When I was walking, I saw this log with mushrooms all over it."

"I was raising my hand."

"We were building the bathroom."
"We had to big sticks."

"We had to make sure the sticks weren't too small because they had to fit on the big branch, and they have be taller."

"Ms. S came in the woods with us today."

September 19

"I was shaving bark off of the log. It was ripped off some."
"I found two slugs at my sit spot."

"I found some blue fungus."

"We were playing rock, paper, scissors, shoot!"

"We were trying to build a house and it looked like a cabin, but we weren't able to put the sticks on top of each other. Then I found out we needed bigger logs."
"We were putting decorations up. And it fell off."

"We went on the swing."

"I was making a fort outside so that I can live in there."

"I was climbing a tree."

"I was climbing the tree so I can jump down."

"I was climbing a tree and my head was peaking out of the crack."

"It was me climbing the tree."

"We were looking for salamanders."
"We found worms."

"I was winning because I was hiding behind the tree."
"We were playing a game called camouflage." 

"We were hiding there and weren't found until my friend started talking and then we were found."

September 12

"There are trees around each other."
"We are looking up."

"There is a spider web that had pine needles in it. There is also a snail."

"I found a really big black log at my sit spot."

"I was playing with different kinds of sticks. I was looking at how big they were."

"This is my friend group....sit spot group."

"In the book I noticed that he wasn't holding sticks, but he was holding a fishing pole."
"We were reading a book." "It was a book about being careful with sticks."

"I found one slug on a mushroom and one on the ground."

"I was climbing trees."

"I was making a fort with sticks."

"I was climbing on the tree and then I slided down the tree."

"The giant stick is my vehicle."

"These are slugs. Me and my friends collected them."

"I was holding the baby salamander in my hands."

"I was making a fire."

"Centipedes eat slugs and slugs eat centipedes."

"It was a green caterpillar."
