"I wonder when are the leaves going to come out?"
"There is blue sky and there are green needles on the trees."

"I was trying to climb the tree and I kept slipping off."

"I was making this mini fort for my woods name, Marching Ant, so it was for ants that march."

"There was a stick on the ground and it was frozen in the ice and nobody could get it out."

"We were having fun. Some people were swinging but some people didn't want to swing so they rolled up like a cocoon."

"My friends and I were playing house. I was the cat."

March 13

"Today is sunny."

"I was laying on my log and enjoying the sun!"

"Some of us were around the fire pit shoveling the benches and ground, so that we could have a fire,"

"While I was sitting at my sit spot, I found baby pine cones."

"We were making food.  We were pretending the snow was food."

"My friend was a dead turkey.  And then he was hunting with us too."

"My friends were chickens and we were trying to get away from them.  If they touched us then we would become chickens too."

"Ms. Rasco and me were making an igloo so I used the shovel to get snow.  It was solid on the top,"

February 27

Brrrrr...It was below zero today, so we couldn't go outside.  That didn't stop us from learning more about out woods animal friends.

We even had a "fire" inside.

February 6

"I was teaching everyone to climb trees."

"I found this piece of ice that looks like a shark fin and the United States of America."

"I was trying to get leaves up and put them on the other side so we could make a dam and I go some leaves."

"I was getting all the leaves out of the dam so that the water could go out because the water wasn't going out because of all the leaves."

"Getting more leaves out so the dam can still go."

"I was working on getting leaves out and little sticks and my friend and I were getting a big log out of the water because it was blocking the stream."

"I was helping chop out the ice in the pan."

"We were trying to go up the hill and I was always slipping on it. "

"The noodles were hard, but we broke them into smaller pieces and then we sticked them through the hot dog, but not where the skin is."
